The vow needed to change from attachment into accountability. I can release the part that tries to bind her choice, while keeping the responsibility to become honest, safe, and mature.

Stop denying, lying, avoiding accountability, and turning the truth back on her.
Own that my actions damaged her self-worth and made her feel crazy instead of protected.
Measure progress by integrity, kept promises, and being a better man and father.

Her home, schedule, and plans are boundaries I need to treat with respect, not things to negotiate around because I want more time. If my presence disrupts peace for her or the kids, repair means changing the behavior immediately.

Ask before assuming access, extended visits, or changes to plans she already made.
When Kaius is upset, lower the noise and make the room calmer instead of adding emotion.
Accept what she says in the moment without turning her feelings into pressure, proof, or an argument.

It is not enough to say I will never hurt her again. If her honest answer is uncertainty, then the work is to become trustworthy without demanding that she believe it before she has evidence.

Do not treat her moving forward, dating, or protecting her future as betrayal.
Let pain exist without turning it into interrogation, guilt, or a request for reassurance.
Make her feel seen by noticing her reality, not by making my dream or emotion the center.

The practice is simple and difficult: slow down before conflict takes over, ask before acting in ways that affect her and the kids, and accept life as it is without trying to force an outcome.

Stop and slow down when anger, defensiveness, or argument starts rising.
Ask instead of announcing decisions that change her day or the kids' day.
Live with acceptance while still choosing maturity, restraint, and accountability.
